“A must have in your summer quiver”

The Puddle Jumper HP proves that even the mushiest looking surf can be the ultimate fun park. Perfect for those small onshore summers day it is a ‘must have’ in your summer quiver.

Visually this board has a wider outline, generous through the midsection and more refined in the nose and tail. Ridden shorter than your standard performance shortboard it has just as much, if not more volume giving it great stability and paddle power. Cleverly, this has allowed for ease of paddling and getting into and onto the waves with minimal effort without compromising the dynamic maneuverability of the board. It is quick to hit its stride, carves well and holds firm underfoot when required to pivot quickly in the tightest of turns. Agile, quick, responsive yet smooth, sturdy and predictable – the perfect yin to the yang – making it a super flexible all round performance grovel board.

The Puddle Jumper Hp has a flexible 5 fin option. After sampling a few different fin combinations I personally found the quad setup with the FCS II AM Smalls in the front and the FCS II Performers in the back was my preferred go to set-up. This epic combo gives me the ultimate hold in my turns allowing me to push the Puddle Jumper HP to its’ full potential in either the cleanest or messiest of conditions, I really feel this fun board caters to all skill levels from beginners to advanced surfers. Each level of surfer will be able to milk this board to get the most stoke out of each session in smaller waves.

Recommended conditions:

  • Ideally it would be a 1-3ft beach break, anything from small, mushy slop to head high, down the line funnels.
